Intelligence Bureau, Under Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting 76 Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIA), Grade-II/ Tech & Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade-II/ Wireless Telegraphy, General Central Service, Group – C (Non-Gazetted/ Non-Ministerial). INTELLIGENCE BUREAU REQUIRES 76 ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER / TECH & ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER / WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY. LAST DATE: 18/02/2013.
1. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Wireless Telegraphy): 57 Nos. (Gen—12; SC—17; ST—8; OBC—20)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics OR Diploma of 3 years in Radio Engineering from polytechnic OR M.Sc. (Wireless) in Tele-Communication Engineering AND
Post Graduate Diploma/ One year Diploma in Computer application OR Bachelor of Computer application or Bachelor degree in computer science/IT/ BE/B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology.
2. Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Tech): 19 Nos. (Gen—11; OBC—01; SC—5; ST—2)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics; or Diploma of 3 years from recognized Polytechnic in Engineering or Technology in the subjects i.e. Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication & Computer Science OR M.Sc (Wireless) in Telecommunication Engineering AND
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application OR Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or IT or BE or B.Tech in Software Engineering or Information Technology.
Age Limits: (For both posts) between 18yrs to 27yrs as on closing date of application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs. Departmental candidates and others—as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination which will be Multiple Choice Objective Types in – General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Comprehension, Physics, Electronics and Mathematics.
Examination Fee: Rs.100/- for General and OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates and women candidates are exempted from paying Examination Fee.
Application fee is to be deposited through Fee Payment Challan from any branch of State Bank of India. Fee Payment Challan is available at the official website (link given below). Candidates may, if wish, can pay the fee through online banking system while submitting the online application.

After final submission of Online application form; candidates should print-out the system generated Registration Slip which will bear unique Registration Number, and retain safely for future use.
Date of Written Examination, Admit card/ Call letter will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates. Such information will be available at the official website, so candidates should regularly visit the site from time to time.
Last Date of Application: Candidates may submit the Online application form within 30 days from the date of officially announcement of the vacancies (Published on 19-02-2013, i.e. last date will be 18/02/2013)
